Participating in the DKV-UrbanTrail means exploring, by walking or running, an unusual side of Luxembourg town (sometimes unknown to the residents themselves) and (re)discovering its heritage.
On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024, the walks and races will once again take athletes and walkers from the cobbled streets of old Luxembourg to little-known dirt roads off the beaten track, from the heights of the Saint-Esprit plateau to the Hesperange municipal administration, while bordering the Alzette in a forest as dense as it is green, from one of the many historical sites and tourist attractions to another (the Grand Ducal Palace, the Neumünster Abbey, the Place d'Armes, the Bock casemates, the Three Acorns, the Philharmonic. ...), through the Aqua Tunnel in the Pétrusse valley to the Pfaffenthal, 1 km further on, and then one by one up the innumerable steps leading to the Place de la Constitution to end up at the Cité Judiciaire, on the Saint-Esprit plateau.
